Matthew Jackson is a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Cinema and Media studies and French at the University of Chicago. He is especially interested in the ways in which cultural myths are created, maintained, and propagated through mass media. He is currently writing his thesis on the role of children and childhood in American horror films.
