On the eve of the conference on Mai 68 and its political and intellectual heritage organized by Stephen Sawyer and Daniel Steinmetz-Jenkins at the American University of Paris, Tocqueville 21 invites you to join us for drinks and discussion at the Bar Commun, a community space in Paris’s 18th arrondissement. We will be discussing the meaning of the 1968 protests and strikes for politics and social movements fifty years later, with special guest Frédéric Worms!
